Fork Township Sanitary District’s primary mission is to provide water service to the Wayne County residents between the city to the east, Johnson County to the west, Neuse River to the south, and Little River to the north.  The district also has a water main that runs from the Wayne/Lenoir county line in the Eastern Wayne and Belfast community back to Fork Township. Currently we service around 5,000 customers.

Cut off day for December is Tuesday December 30th  at 8:30 am.

Fork Township will be closed Wednesday ,Thursday and Friday December 24th, 25th, and 26th for Christmas and will reopen for normal business hours Monday December 29th. 

Rosewood Fire Dept will be testing fire hydrants the week of December 1st. The locations that they will be testing is all of Friendly Dr to Rosewood Rd and back up to Hwy 581 S. Then down Old Smithfield Rd back to Friendly Dr.
