Fork Township Sanitary District’s primary mission is to provide water service to the Wayne County residents between the city to the east, Johnson County to the west, Neuse River to the south, and Little River to the north.  The district also has a water main that runs from the Wayne/Lenoir county line in the Eastern Wayne and Belfast community back to Fork Township. Currently we service around 5,000 customers.

Cut off day for March is Tuesday March 31, 2026 at 8:30am.

On Tuesday March 24, 2026 from 9:00am to 3:00pm the water will be off from the stop light at Rosewood Food Mart on Rosewood Rd to the Rosewood Fire Department due to installing a new water line. The water outage does include Rosewood Park. Sorry for the inconvenience in this matter.
