Fork Township Sanitary District’s primary mission is to provide water service to the Wayne County residents between the city to the east, Johnson County to the west, Neuse River to the south, and Little River to the north. The district also has a water main that runs from the Wayne/Lenoir county line in the Eastern Wayne and Belfast community back to Fork Township. Currently we service around 5,000 customers.
CUT OFF DAY FOR May is May 31 at 8:00 am. If your water is disconnected for nonpayment you will be required to pay a $50.00 reconnect fee plus your bill in full before water is restored.
We will be feeding free chlorine from May 3 – June 14, 202.
Rosewood Fire Department will be testing fire hydrants in the area, you may experience some discolored water during this time. Please not that we are flushing lines hoping to stay ahead of the problem. Please call the office with any concerns.
