Fork Township Sanitary District’s primary mission is to provide water service to the Wayne County residents between the city to the east, Johnson County to the west, Neuse River to the south, and Little River to the north.  The district also has a water main that runs from the Wayne/Lenoir county line in the Eastern Wayne and Belfast community back to Fork Township. Currently we service around 5,000 customers.

Cut off day for May is Thursday May 28, 2026 at 8:30am.

Fork Township Sanitary District will be closed Monday May 25th and will reopen for normal business hours Tuesday May 26th.
